Maria Weinberger began her professional journey with a post-Matura vocational business programme (PWA), gaining her first insights into marketing and human resources. In parallel, she completed her training as an HR Assistant at NBW, allowing her to build her HR expertise in a more targeted way. She subsequently deepened her knowledge by completing a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology in Olten. As part of various study projects, she also gained valuable international experience in Colombia and China.

Throughout her career to date, Maria has worked in a variety of HR functions. She has managed programmes for apprentices and graduates, organised events, and gained experience in recruitment, HR administration and case management. As a result, she is familiar with the many facets of human resources and combines a structured, solution-oriented approach with empathy and sound professional expertise.
Most recently, Maria fulfilled a personal dream by travelling through Central and South America and the Caribbean. During her travels, she learned Portuguese, her sixth language. In her free time, she enjoys salsa dancing and is wholeheartedly devoted to the welfare of dogs. Her openness, curiosity and enthusiasm for engaging with people shape both her personality and her approach to HR.
 
Maria is currently further developing her qualifications through the MAS in HR & Law and is completing the CAS in Employment Law at ZHAW in Winterthur.
